Syndicate Legal Advisory Services organizes the client’s records about a relationship and prepare the client’s answers on the court’s official civil forms for a palimony case.
What’s included:
- Jurisdiction table check. Using our state table, we give the client the state’s own published information on whether and how unmarried partners may bring claims, which court hears them, and the filing deadlines.
- Relationship record (client’s statements). A structured questionnaire records the client’s own statements: both partners’ names and addresses, the dates the relationship began and ended, whether the partners lived together, whether there were children, whether they registered as domestic partners or married anywhere, and where each lived during the relationship.
- Client chronology (client’s words). The client writes, or dictates, a timeline of the relationship, including any agreements, promises, contributions, and the breakup. We type it verbatim, correcting only spelling and formatting, and the client reviews and approves every sentence. We do not write, shape, characterize, or add legal terms or conclusions.
- Contribution and asset schedules (client’s figures). We prepare the client’s own lists of money, labor, property, and business contributions, and of jointly or separately held property, debts, and accounts, from the client’s documents, with no valuation, characterization, or advice.
- Evidence organization. We organize the client’s own documents (written agreements or notes, texts and emails the client chooses to include, deeds, titles, joint account statements, tax returns, loan applications, photographs, and statements from others) into a labeled chronological file.
- Service information. We provide a neutral checklist of the court’s published rules on who may serve papers and how, and the proof of service forms. The client may not serve the papers personally, and we do not serve.
- Fee waiver forms (optional). If the client requests, we prepare the client’s own answers on the court’s fee waiver forms.
- Filing packet. We provide a printed or digital packet with the prepared forms and the court’s published filing procedures. The client signs and files, and we do not file for the client unless counsel confirms it is permitted.
- After-filing checklist. A neutral list, from the court’s public guidance, of the steps that follow: service, the response, any hearing, and the judgment.
- Review and revisions. We make revisions you request to the typed forms and schedules before signing, within the review rounds in your package.
