Syndicate Legal Advisory Services prepares the client’s answers into the official USCIS Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card, and organizes the client’s supporting documents.

What’s included:

  • Intake and information gathering. A structured questionnaire collects the client’s own answers to the form’s questions, such as name, phone number, date of birth, country of birth, mailing and physical address, class of admission, date of admission, and the current card information.
  • Reason for filing. The form asks the client to select the reason: card lost, stolen, or destroyed, card damaged, card expired or expiring within six months, a name or biographic change, a card issued with incorrect data due to a USCIS error, and a few others.
  • Form preparation. We prepare the client’s answers into the current edition of Form I-90 and the signature page, and we complete the preparer’s statement accurately, identifying ourselves as the preparer.
  • Document organization. We organize the evidence the form calls for, based on the client’s selected reason, such as a copy of the current or expired card, a government photo ID, a police report for a stolen card, and legal name change documents.
  • Passport-style photo and biometrics information. We provide a neutral checklist drawn from USCIS guidance on photos where required, and on the biometrics appointment. We do not take photos or attend biometrics.
  • Filing packet. We provide a printable filing packet with a document checklist, copy instructions, and the current USCIS filing address or online filing information, drawn from the official instructions. The client reviews, signs, and files. We do not file on the client’s behalf, and we do not open or use the client’s USCIS online account.
  • Filing fee information. We tell the client where to find the current fee on the official USCIS fee schedule and the accepted forms of payment, and note that USCIS may require a fee or allow a fee waiver depending on the reason for filing.
  • Receipt and next-step checklist. We provide a neutral checklist, drawn from USCIS public guidance, of what the client may receive after filing: a receipt notice, an extension notice or evidence of status (where USCIS provides one), a biometrics appointment, and the new card. We do not advise on what these mean or how to respond.
  • Address change reminder. We prepare, on request, the Form AR-11 change of address notice from the client’s information.
  • Review and revisions. We make revisions you request to the typed form before signing, within the number of review rounds included in your package.
