Syndicate Legal Advisory Services prepares the petitioner’s answers into the official USCIS Form I-130 and organizes the petitioner’s supporting documents.
What’s included:
- Petitioner status record. The petitioner states that they are a U.S. citizen, how they acquired citizenship, and their age, and provides proof (a U.S. passport, naturalization certificate, or birth certificate showing birth in the U.S.). We record the statement.
- Relationship record (client’s statement). The petitioner states the relationship category from USCIS’s own published descriptions (mother or father by birth, or another category the petitioner selects) and provides the supporting civil documents.
- Intake and information gathering. A structured questionnaire collects the petitioner’s own answers and the parent’s own answers: names and other names used, dates and places of birth, phone numbers, addresses for the past five years, the parent’s spouse and children (since those details are asked on the form), immigration history, and how the parent last entered the United States, if applicable.
- Form I-130 preparation. We prepare the petitioner’s answers, including the parent’s information and any prior petitions, following the current form instructions. The petitioner reviews and signs personally.
- Form G-1145 (optional). We prepare the e-notification request from the petitioner’s contact information.
- Evidence organization. We organize the petitioner’s own documents into a labeled index: the petitioner’s birth certificate showing the parent’s name, proof of the petitioner’s U.S. citizenship, the parent’s passport and identity documents, and proof of any name changes.
- Translation coordination. We provide a checklist reminding the family that foreign-language documents need a complete English translation with a translator’s certification. We do not translate or certify.
- Filing packet. We provide a printable packet with a document checklist, copy instructions, and the current USCIS filing address or online filing information from the official instructions. The petitioner reviews, signs, and files. We do not file for the petitioner and do not use USCIS online accounts.
- Fee information. We direct the petitioner to the official USCIS fee schedule and accepted payment forms. We do not collect or transmit the government fee.
- After-filing checklist. A neutral list, from USCIS public guidance, of what the petitioner may receive: a receipt notice, a request for evidence, and a decision.
- Next-steps information sheet. We provide USCIS’s published description of the steps after approval (adjustment of status, or consular processing through the National Visa Center), with no interpretation.
- Address change reminder. On request, we prepare Form AR-11 from the client’s information.
- Review and revisions. We make revisions you request to the typed form before signing, within the review rounds in your package.
