Documents Commonly Prepared

We prepare documents associated with a TTB Wholesaler’s Basic Permit Application, including:

  • Application for Basic Permit Under the FAA Act (TTB F 5100.24): Completion of the application covering the applicant’s identity, premises address, business organization, operations as a wholesaler of distilled spirits, wine, or malt beverages, trade names, and other required information, based on the information you supply.

  • Supporting Forms: Organization of Personnel Questionnaires (TTB F 5000.9), Power of Attorney (TTB F 5000.8), Signing Authority for Corporate and LLC Officials (TTB F 5100.1), or other required supporting materials, based on the documents and information you provide.

  • Organizational and Premises Documents: Organization of articles of incorporation, operating agreements, partnership agreements, lease agreements or proof of ownership, and other entity or premises materials, based on the documents you supply.

  • Amendments or Updates: Preparation of amended applications or updates incorporating corrections, based on the corrected or updated details you provide.

Documents are prepared for electronic filing through the TTB’s Permits Online system or for paper submission as applicable. A Wholesaler’s Basic Permit is required before engaging in the business of purchasing distilled spirits, wine, or malt beverages for resale at wholesale (to trade buyers such as retailers or other wholesalers); the applicant must maintain a business office in the United States; the application package includes ownership disclosures and premises information; clients remain fully responsible for determining the permitting obligations, the accuracy and completeness of all information, timely submission, satisfaction of any related requirements (such as state licenses or label retention rules), and compliance with the Federal Alcohol Administration Act and TTB regulations under 27 C.F.R. Part 1.
