  • Amendments or Updates: Preparation of amended applications or updates incorporating corrections or additional ratings, based on the corrected or updated details you provide.

Documents are prepared for submission to the responsible Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) or other FAA office as applicable. Part 141 pilot school certification requires a formal application (Form 8420-8), approved training course curricula, qualified personnel (including a chief instructor), suitable facilities and aircraft, and demonstration of compliance through a multi-phase process (pre-application, formal application, document compliance, demonstration/inspection, and certification); Part 142 training center certification requires an application at least 120 days prior to proposed training, demonstration of management qualifications, suitable facilities and flight training equipment, approved curricula, and compliance through a multi-phase process; clients remain fully responsible for determining the certification requirements, the accuracy and completeness of all information and curricula, timely submission, satisfaction of personnel, facility, and inspection requirements, and compliance with 14 C.F.R.
