Syndicate Legal Advisory Services prepares the client’s answers into the official USCIS Form I-90 to renew an expiring or expired 10-year permanent resident card and organizes the client’s own supporting documents.
What’s included:
- Card-type check. We ask the client to read the expiration line on the card. A card that expires in two years is a conditional resident card, which cannot be renewed with the I-90 and requires a different petition.
- Intake and information gathering. A structured questionnaire collects the client’s own answers: name, phone number, date and country of birth, mailing and physical addresses, class of admission, date of admission, parents’ names if the form asks, and current card details.
- Reason for filing. For this service the client’s selection is renewal of a card that is expiring within six months or has expired.
- Form preparation. We prepare the client’s answers into the current form edition and complete the preparer’s statement accurately, identifying ourselves as the preparer.
- Document organization. We organize the evidence the instructions call for, such as a copy of the current or expired card and a government photo ID, into a labeled index.
- Photo and biometrics information. We provide a neutral checklist from USCIS guidance on photos where required and on the biometrics appointment. We do not take photos or attend biometrics.
- Filing packet. We provide a printable packet with a document checklist, copy instructions, and the USCIS filing address or online filing information from the official instructions. The client reviews, signs, and files, or files online in the client’s own account. We do not file for the client and do not use the client’s USCIS account.
- Fee information. We direct the client to the official USCIS fee schedule and accepted payment forms, and note that fee waiver eligibility is the client’s question to resolve. We do not collect or transmit the government fee.
- After-filing checklist. A neutral list, from USCIS public guidance, of what the client may receive: a receipt notice, a biometrics appointment, evidence of extended status where USCIS provides it, and the new card. We do not advise on what these mean.
- Address change reminder. On request, we prepare Form AR-11 from the client’s information.
- Review and revisions. We make revisions you request before signing, within the review rounds in your package.
