Syndicate Legal Advisory Services prepares the clients’ answers into the official USCIS Form I-130 and Form I-130A and organizes the clients’ own supporting documents.
What’s included:
- Intake and information gathering. A structured questionnaire collects each spouse’s own answers: names and other names used, dates and places of birth, phone numbers, addresses for the past five years, employment, prior marriages and how each ended, children, the date and place of the marriage, and how and when the spouses met.
- Form I-130 preparation. We prepare the petitioner’s answers on the Petition for Alien Relative, including the beneficiary’s information and any prior petitions, from what each spouse states. The petitioner reviews and signs personally.
- Form I-130A preparation. We prepare the beneficiary spouse’s answers on the supplement for a spouse, including the last five years of addresses and employment. The beneficiary reviews and signs personally.
- Form G-1145 (optional). We prepare the e-notification request from the clients’ contact information.
- Evidence organization. We organize the clients’ own documents into a labeled index, such as the marriage certificate, proof that any prior marriages ended, passport photos and passport biographic pages, birth certificates, and bona fide marriage evidence the clients choose to include (joint lease or mortgage, joint bank or insurance records, joint tax returns, photographs, and third-party statements).
- Third-party statements (optional). From a person’s own account, we prepare a sworn statement the person reviews, corrects, and signs.
- Translation coordination. We provide a checklist reminding the clients that foreign-language documents need a complete English translation with a translator’s certification. We do not translate or certify.
- Filing packet. We provide a printable packet with a document checklist, copy instructions, and the current USCIS filing address or online filing information from the official instructions. The clients review, sign, and file. We do not file for them and do not use their USCIS online accounts.
- Fee information. We direct the clients to the official USCIS fee schedule and accepted payment forms. We do not collect or transmit the government fee.
- After-filing checklist. A neutral list, from USCIS public guidance, of what the clients may receive: a receipt notice, a request for evidence, an interview notice, and a decision. We do not advise on what these mean or how to respond.
- Next-steps information sheet. We provide USCIS’s own published description of the steps that follow approval (adjustment of status, consular processing through the National Visa Center, and the visa bulletin for preference categories), with no interpretation.
- Address change reminder. On request, we prepare Form AR-11 from the clients’ information.
- Review and revisions. We make revisions you request to the typed forms before signing, within the review rounds in your package.
