Syndicate Legal Advisory Services prepares the client’s answers into the official USCIS Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, and organizes the client’s supporting documents.
What’s included:
- Eligibility information sheet. We provide USCIS’s own published eligibility checklist, with no interpretation. The client records their own answers.
- Intake and information gathering. A structured questionnaire collects the client’s own answers to the form’s questions, such as names and other names used, phone number, dates and places of birth and entry, the class of admission and the date permanent residence began, addresses for the past five years, employment and school history, marital history, children, and trips outside the United States of 24 hours or more.
- Basis for eligibility. The form asks the client to select the basis (for example, five years as a permanent resident, three years as the spouse of a citizen, or military service). We record the client’s own selection.
- Form preparation. We prepare the client’s answers verbatim into the current edition of Form N-400 and the signature pages, and complete the preparer’s statement accurately, identifying ourselves as the preparer.
- Travel and address history organizer. We organize the client’s own passport stamps, travel records, and lease or residence records into a dated chronology.
- Document organization. We organize the evidence the form calls for, such as a copy of the permanent resident card, tax transcripts, marriage and divorce records, name change documents, and certified court dispositions the client has obtained for any arrest or citation.
- Disability and exemption forms (optional). Where the client states they will request a medical disability exception, we prepare Form N-648 and organize it for the client’s medical professional to complete.
- Study materials information. We provide a list of the official USCIS civics and English test study resources. We do not tutor or prepare the client for the interview.
- Filing packet. We provide a printed filing packet with a document checklist, copy instructions, and the current USCIS filing address or online filing information. The client reviews, signs, and files. We do not file on the client’s behalf, and we do not open or use the client’s USCIS online account.
- Filing fee information. We tell the client where to find the current fee on the official USCIS fee schedule and the accepted forms of payment. We do not collect or transmit the government fee.
- Receipt and next-step checklist. We provide a neutral checklist, drawn from USCIS public guidance, of what the client may receive after filing: a receipt notice, a biometrics appointment, an interview notice, a decision, and an oath ceremony notice.
- Address change reminder. We prepare, on request, the Form AR-11 change of address notice from the client’s information.
- Review and revisions. We make revisions you request to the typed form before signing, within the number of review rounds included in your package.
