Syndicate Legal Advisory Services prepare written agreements and forms for individual artists, performers, creators, and athletes. Syndicate Legal Advisory Services is not a talent agency, manager, booking agent, record label, producer, or business manager, and we do not find work or solicit offers.
What’s included:
- Intake and information gathering. A structured questionnaire collects the artist’s legal and professional names, type of work, existing agreements and works, collaborators, the transaction at issue, and the terms you select on each topic.
- Services and engagement agreements. From client-selected terms, we prepare agreements such as a freelance or independent contractor services agreement for a performance, appearance, production, or editing job, a speaking or event engagement agreement, a booking or rider form for a live appearance, a session musician or featured artist agreement, and a voice or on-camera services agreement.
One Option per Engagement & Fee:
- Collaboration and split documents. We prepare a co-writing or songwriter split agreement, a co-producer agreement, a band or group agreement addressing the terms the members select, a podcast co-host agreement, and a collaboration agreement for creators, from terms the parties have agreed to.
- Work-for-hire and assignment documents. We prepare a work-made-for-hire acknowledgment or assignment of copyright from terms you supply, and a short-form assignment for recording at the Copyright Office, if you direct.
- Licensing documents. We prepare a sync or master use license, a sample or beat license, a music or content license for a podcast or video, a name, image, and likeness (NIL) license, and a release for use of a performer’s appearance, from the terms and scope you select.
- Releases and consents. We prepare model, location, appearance, interview, and guest releases, and a cast or crew release for independent productions, from the terms you select.
- Confidentiality and non-disclosure documents. We prepare an NDA for a project, a pitch, or a production, from the terms you select.
- Management, agent, and representation paperwork. If an artist is engaging a manager, agent, or publicist, we type an agreement the artist has already negotiated, and we do not advise on commission rates, term, or Talent Agencies Act issues.
- Athlete and NIL documents (optional). For an athlete, we prepare a personal appearance agreement, an endorsement or brand ambassador agreement, a camp or clinic agreement, and an NIL license, from terms you supply.
- Content and platform documents. We prepare a content license, a podcast sponsorship or advertising insertion agreement, a producer or editor agreement, a talent release for a guest, and an affiliate or revenue-share agreement, from terms you select.
- Performing rights and royalty registration paperwork. From information you provide, we complete the registration forms for a performing rights organization or a mechanical licensing collective, and for a neighboring rights or digital royalties account.
- Cease and desist and takedown notices (optional). From facts you supply, we prepare a demand letter or a DMCA takedown notice in your name for infringement of your work, and we complete the counter-notice form if you are the target, over your signature. We do not evaluate infringement or fair use.
Services Continued:
- Execution documents. We prepare signature blocks, notary acknowledgments where used, and written signing instructions, including electronic signature guidance.
- Review and revisions. We make revisions you request to the drafts before signing, within the number of review rounds included in your package.
