Documents Commonly Prepared
We prepare documents associated with a USFWS Import/Export License Application, including:
Import/Export License Application (FWS Form 3-200-3a for U.S. Entities or Form 3-200-3b for Foreign Entities): Completion of the application covering the applicant’s identity, premises or agent information, description of commercial import/export activities involving wildlife or wildlife products, certifications, and other required information, based on the information you supply.
Supporting Materials Organization: Organization of any additional documentation or descriptions of wildlife types based on the documents and information you supply.
Amendments or Updates: Preparation of amended applications or updates incorporating corrections, based on the corrected or updated details you provide.
Documents are prepared for electronic submission through the USFWS eLicense system or for paper submission as applicable. An Import/Export License is required for entities commercially importing or exporting wildlife (including parts and products) into or from the United States under 50 C.F.R. Part 14; U.S. entities use Form 3-200-3a and foreign entities use Form 3-200-3b (which requires designation of a U.S. agent); the license is valid for up to one year; an application fee of $100 applies for a new license or renewal (and $50 for an amendment); clients remain fully responsible for determining the licensing requirements, the accuracy and completeness of all information, timely submission and fee payment, maintenance of required records, and compliance with 50 C.F.R. Parts 13 and 14 and other applicable wildlife laws.
